The Journey Behind CAN-HOPE

CAN-HOPE was built from experience, then strengthened by research.

Dr. Hope T. Cannady’s journey in early childhood education began as a family childcare provider and grew to include leadership, coaching, higher education, research, and professional development.

Each role provided a different view of the same question: How do we help educators turn what they know into meaningful practice for children?

That question continues to guide CAN-HOPE Education Consultant LLC today. Our work brings research and real-world experience together to support children, educators, families, schools, and early childhood programs.

Grounded in play-based learning, CAN-HOPE believes young children learn through meaningful experiences, relationships, exploration, and intentional opportunities to play.

Changing the World… One Teacher. One Child. One Day at a Time.
